Kiat + Anita. Seal Beach Proposal
No matter how many times I shoot a proposal it’s hard not to feel nervous. We didn’t get a chance to meet face to face due to distance, work and timing. When that happens, I made sure to have a FaceTime call with him just to make sure we got familiar with each other. This way I cover all my bases and advise him on what to expect for photography. I arrived at Seal Beach an hour early and waited for them and tracked their location via Find my Friends which is great for proposals! The beach was pretty empty in the morning during winter as you would expect so since there was a family shoot happening nearby I kind of blended in – thanks again to random photographer and very nice family for letting me blend in!
I made sure top bring a long lens to keep my distance. Proposals should be intimate and the last thing you need is a photographer invading space so as soon as he gave me the signal I got in position and the rest in history.
Congratulations again Kiat and Anita!!!
