Tanny & Jei’s Wedding
I finally get to show off these photos from Tanny & Jei’s Wedding at the San Gabriel Hilton Hotel! Tanny being a event planner/coordinator planned and coordinated her own wedding. I can’t say how much fun the wedding was and how honored I feel to be able to capture their special day. When I first met Tanny and Jei I knew they would be an amazing couple to work with. Their engagement session at Thomas F Riley Park was so much fun to shoot!
The entire wedding took place at the Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel. I love this hotel, the rooms are spacious and windows are big enough to fill the room with lots of natural light. If you have never been, the rooftop is where the ceremony takes place and it’s also a gorgeous space. Did I forget to mention that Tanny is an event planner and coordinator so she planned and coordinated her own wedding!?
Tanny also gave Jei the surprise of the day when the brother in law dressed up to surprise him for the first look! A picture says a thousand words.
Tanny & Jei also hosted a tea ceremony in one the conference rooms where the bride had the creative idea to do a three step curtain reveal for every game Jei and the groomsmen passed. Jei gave an epic performance dancing to Bruno Mars to impress his soon to be bride.
Afterwards, the bridal party headed out to Pasadena City Hall for bridal party photos. Thankfully we went early enough in the timeline since the city was closing off part of the city hall for a public event. Sidenote* For all the potential brides and fellow wedding photographers, you don’t need a permit to shoot there, but you do need a business license in Pasadena and to check the event calendar.
Their ceremony went by beautifully just as the sun was starting to set. We also had time to squeeze in a mini-session on the rooftop during cocktail hour. The reception was filled with fun games and laughs. It was definitely a night to remember! This is the part where I stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves! Thanks for reading!
